Chinese crane manufacturer Dafang Crane has exported a 3-ton European-style single girder overhead crane to a Bolivian glass workshop.
The move expands the existing partnership Bolivian glass workshop, which began in 2018.
The crane, which features a span length of 13.27 metres and a lifting height of six metres, is designed for smooth operation and reduced maintenance.
Dafang said the customer selected a SEW-brand motor, which is known for its reliability and low maintenance, minimising after-sales service needs
The relationship with the Bolivian customer started with the purchase of their first overhead crane, followed by orders for spare parts in 2019 and five additional cranes in 2020.
The partnership has grown over the years, with the customer purchasing cranes for both personal use and other local companies, strengthening business connections.
Dafang Crane, in a LinkedIn post said: “Our partnership with this Bolivian customer began in 2018, when they purchased their first overhead crane from us.
At that time, we sent a technician to their site to assist with crane installation. In 2019, they ordered spare parts, and in 2020, they placed a new order for five overhead cranes.
“Since then, they have continued to purchase cranes either for their own use or on behalf of other local companies. Over the years, we have built a strong and reliable partnership.”
In a separate development, Dafang Crane has installed a 30/5-ton double girder overhead crane, with a span of 25 metres, for a customer in Belarus.
The crane is designed to handle large loads, offering high stability and wind resistance.
Its effective lifting range and advanced control systems simplify operations, while multiple safety mechanisms, limiters and emergency stop buttons ensure personnel safety.
Recently, Dafang Crane has exported two five-ton HD European single-girder overhead cranes to a Romanian client, tailored for its workshops for steel structure production.
The first crane features a span of 14m and a lifting height of 8m, and the second a span of 17.6m and a lifting height of 6m.
Dafang Crane has also exported a 10-ton single-girder overhead crane, along with Steel Structure Workshops, to a client in Brunei.
The overhead crane, specifically designed to meet the client’s requirements, features a span length of 20.3 metres and a lifting height of nine metres.
The shipment to Brunei included a Steel Structure Workshop for production, measuring 51,000 mm in length, 21,300 mm in width, and 11,600 mm in height.
