Chinese crane manufacturer Henan Dafang Crane has exported a 10-ton single girder overhead crane, along with Steel Structure Workshops to Brunei.
The overhead crane, specifically designed to meet the client’s requirements, features a span length of 20.3 metres and a lifting height of nine metres.
The shipment to Brunei included a Steel Structure Workshop for production, measuring 51,000 mm in length, 21,300 mm in width, and 11,600 mm in height.
The facility features a 10-ton overhead crane and comprises columns, crane beams, walls, roof, and components like wall and roof panels, exhaust fans, skylights, doors, and windows.
In addition, a Steel Structure Workshop for storage was part of the export, with dimensions of 36,000 mm in length, 26,000 mm in width, and 8,800 mm in height.
It does not include a crane, it features essential structural elements such as columns, walls, roof, wall and roof panels, skylights, doors, and windows.
The workshops were designed to align with the client’s operational needs, and the crane was custom-fitted to the workshop’s specifications, ensuring seamless integration.
Dafang, in a LinkedIn post, said: “Dafang specialises in cranes and steel structure workshops. The client ultimately chose us due to our expertise and tailored solutions.
“The workshops were designed according to the customer’s specific requirements, ensuring they are perfectly suited to their operations. The crane was also custom-designed to fit the workshop dimensions.”
Recently, the Chinese crane maker exported two 3-ton European single girder overhead cranes to Thailand, with a capacity of three tons each and a span of 23.2 metres.
Dafang optimised packing to enhance loading efficiency and coordinated priority shipping around the Songkran holiday, resulting in a delivery six working days ahead of its schedule.
The measures led to an 8.3% reduction in total procurement costs and shortened the supply chain cycle to 18 days, compared to the industry average of 23 days.
