The first Enerpac ML40 Mini-Lift Gantry has been delivered to D. Turner & Son (Machinery Removal) in Rochdale, Lancashire, UK. Designed for installing or removing machinery in tight spaces, the self-contained mini gantry has all an operator needs for nearly any 50-ton lifting job using a standard 16amp 110v single phase power supply.

“The ML40 is a great addition to our lifting systems portfolio and our second Enerpac telescopic hydraulic gantry,” says Lee Turner, director, D.Turner & Son (Machinery Removal). “We have an Enerpac SL400 for larger loads up to 400T, while the MT40 will be ideal for smaller loads.”

With a collapsed height of 1.9m, the ML40 fits through a standard personnel doorway and can be easily manoeuvred into position manually. The maximum lift height for the ML40 Mini-Lift Gantry is 5.5 meters, with 50-ton lifting capacity in all three lifting stages. The ML40 Mini-Lift Gantry also comes standard with a wireless pendant control which keeps the operator away from the load when lifted.

The ML40 Mini-Lift Gantry is a complete, self-contained system with everything on-board including the pump, controls, and drive system.  The gantry movement is fully synchronised, as well as full load and stroke control across all four gantry booms.

“The ML40 Mini Hydraulic Gantry has been designed from the outset for machinery movers performing plant relocation services, heavy machinery installations, special transportation or machinery maintenance. It is sold as complete system with everything needed to perform lifting projects,” says Jeremy Stubbs, commercial director, Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology.

Additional components such as skid tracks, header beams, lifting anchors, and other accessories are available. For ease of deployment, the ML40 Mini Gantry features freewheel operation for transportation and set up, and a roll cage for overhead lifting and/or towing and pushing for installation.

The ML40 will be on show at the Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology, Experience Days, in Hengelo, The Netherlands, May 16-20, 2022.
