Allied Power Products of the USA has introduced a new chain hoist that can be driven by a hand-heldcordless drill.
The Pulley-Man CSH-3000 weighs less than 4.5kg (10lb) and has a lifting capacity of 227kg (500lb). It is designed for universal industrial use and Allied says that it is ideal for anyone working away from a convenient power source. The Pulley-Man is self locking and is equipped with an automatic brake mechanism.
Allied president Bob Peterson said that the new product was “immediate help for any worker who, for example, must climb a tower or industrial stack and take tools with them”.
