CMCO upgrades Lodestar
25 March 2010Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO) has upgraded its Lodestar electric chain hoist to provide smoother operation in entertainment applications.
CMCO said Lodestar electric chain hoists are popular in venues around the world, and are used for lifting and positioning operations.
New features added to Lodestar electric chain hoists provide steady lifts with quiet operation and user-friendly design. This allows Lodestar electric chain hoists to be installed in all types of venue and application, CMCO said.
Lodestar electric chain hoists have a capacity range between 1/8-2t, and are capable of operating at 50-60hz with both single– and three-phase models.
An adjustable limit switch prevents the load from over-travelling and built-in overload protection prevents overloaded lifts.
