Columbus McKinnon, the American material handling product manufacturer, has launched the 15-60USt capacity Yale LodeKing electric wire rope hoist, targeting an international market.
The hoist will combine the durability of its Yale range with higher capacities, the company said.
The hoist is intended for heavy-duty applications within power generation, government, aerospace, logging, agriculture, marine, transportation, industry and construction.
Columbus McKinnon expects adding the higher capacity product to the Yale hoists range will make Yale more competitive and appealing to a broader market, and more in line with contemporary demands.
The standard versions of Yale LodeKing will include true vertical lift design to allow operators to control loads and center drive configuration to allow improved load centering.
The casing will contain Columbus McKinnon’s Gear Drive, which the company says is designed for easy maintenance.
The company will offer ion nitriding of sheaves and drums as an option to increase protection against wear.
