Additionally, all the cranes offer what Meloni described as a complete automatic service. “By this,” it explained, “we mean that there is custom made software for the management of all the information in the plant and for the control of the crane.”

The first crane, supplied to Italcementi’s Novi Ligure (AL) facility was a bridge crane with 20t capacity and 30m span.

A further two bridge cranes, this time of 25t capacity with 24.5 and 36 spans respectively, were supplied to Calusco d’Adda (BG).

Italcementi’s Trieste facility, meanwhile, ordered a crane with 25t capacity and 32m span. The Monselice site also ordered one with 32t capacity and 32m span.

Finally, Isola delle Femmine (Palermo) received a bridge crane of 32t capacity and 32m span.
