Deutsche Messe press manager Brigitte Mahnken highlighted the similarities between the two logos, which both represent trade shows in the developing world. The logo will be a focal point of marketing for next year’s CeMAT Asia show, when a return to the Shanghai New Int’l Expo Centre is scheduled for 27-30 October.

The logo is also similar to that of the European CeMAT show, which takes place next year in Hannover (the same city as Deutsche Messe’s headquarters), 27-31 May.
