Cargotec has acquired the assets and business of Danish firm Arne Holst and Co, an agent and service provider for Kalmar products and parts and for MacGregor lashing equipment for more than two decades.

Arne Holst deals in container handling, drum handling, lashing equipment, container spreaders and cargo securing manuals.

The deal sees Cargotec acquire the assets of the company, its business contacts and four employees. The assets of Arne Holst will be integrated into Kalmar Danmark AS.

“Arne Holst has been a valued agent and service provider for Kalmar products and parts and for MacGregor lashing equipment for over 20 years,” said Ismo Vaihtamo, director of container business in North Europe for Cargotec. “Through the acquisition we strengthen our presence as a service provider and clarify the distribution of our equipment and parts in Denmark.”
