Anton Kullh steps into the role as the new managing director for the company’s Industrial Automation Group. Kullh is a new addition to our management team, after departing from the gripping, lifting and moving solutions provider Piab.

He replaces Mattias Jaginder, who now takes on the challenge as managing director of the aforementioned Lifting Solutions Group.

Jaginder said: “I am excited to take on the role of leading the Lifting Solutions Group. With our 24 companies in 19 countries, we are, with a turnover of around €500m, one of the world’s absolute largest distributors of lifting products and services.

“Thanks to my predecessor Ralf Wiberg for your great work and enjoy your well-deserved retirement after almost an entire career within the lifting industry.”

Axel Johnson International added: “With his extensive expertise and capabilities, Mattias is perfectly positioned to lead one of our largest and most thriving business areas.”

The company, meanwhile, has also announced the appointment of Thomas Ekman as the new board chair. He succeeds Mia Brunell Livfors, who had previously stated her unavailability for re-election as chairperson.

Commenting on his appointment, Ekman said: “Amid challenging economic times, Axel Johnson International has demonstrated its financial strength and a corporate culture characterised by a long-term vision, collaboration and forward-thinking. I am enthusiastic and pleased to assume the role of board chair and look forward to working with the management and employees to take the company to new heights.”
