A 37-year old man was crushed to death in a workshop in North Rockhampton, Australia when a steel beam on an overhead crane left its rails and fell. Other employees in the building at the time were left unscathed.

The accident happened last month at the Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) site on Richardson Road in North Rockhampton.

Emergency services and workplace health and safety officers are currently investigating how the crane fell. The ARC has not yet released a statement.
