Turkey-based overhead crane manufacturer Asan Cranes has announced the delivery of a 75/20-ton overhead crane for heavy-duty scrap operations.

The FEM 5M / ISO M8 Class crane is equipped with features such as a movable operator’s cabin for enhanced visibility and safety.

It comes with a leak-proof electrical room and a redundant air conditioning system to ensure uninterrupted operation even in high temperatures.

The overhead crane also includes an automatic lubrication system that minimises maintenance costs and ensures operational continuity.

An ANTI-SWAY system offers precise movement by compensating for load oscillation, while a PROFINET communication infrastructure facilitates high-speed data integration.

In addition, the crane’s AFE (REGEN) system enhances energy efficiency by recovering braking energy.

Asan Cranes, in a LinkedIn post, said: “Thanks to AFE technology, which provides a significant advantage over resistive systems, we offer a solution that is both environmentally friendly and reduces operating costs.”

Founded in 2001 in Ankara, Asan Cranes has established itself as a key player in the crane manufacturing sector by adopting cutting-edge production technologies.

The company produces a wide range of lifting solutions, including single and double-girder overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and jib cranes, with capacities ranging from one to 80 tons.

It also designs and manufactures heavy-duty process cranes and container cranes for ports and railways, along with crane equipment such as c-hooks, grabs, magnets, and spreaders.

Asan produces cranes for use in various industrial settings, including iron and steel facilities, foundries, shipyards, mines, ports, and railways.

It also offers comprehensive after-sales services, providing periodic maintenance and spare parts to ensure the longevity and efficient operation of cranes.
