The so-called VPE 18L Mill-Duty Vacuum Lifter is an electric powered lifter that features an all-welded steel A-frame and three large rectangular pads with foam seals for handling loads with rough surfaces up to 6,600lbs. Built for continuous applications, standard features include parking stands, gauges, warning horns, red and green safety lights and remote controls.
Equipped with an oversize pump and motor, the unit is built to be “wobble-free,” as Anver put it, for positioning heavy loads. Similar models with two to six vacuum pads and capacities up to 19,200lbs are also available, along with a variety of special purpose vacuum pad materials such as silicone seals for hot surroundings.
