ACDC Cranes has designed and installed an overhead crane with a lifting capacity of 50t +12.5t for an undisclosed client.

The 19m long overhead crane is equipped with a VERLINDE VT4 wire rope hoist and is now operational at the client’s facility.

The project involved replacing an existing 50t Demag P100 crane, which has been decommissioned.

ACDC Cranes handled the design, build and installation process internally.

The company partnered with VERLINDE Lifting Equipment for the project.

The new crane will operate in one of the facility’s main bays and is expected to handle significant lifting requirements.

ACDC Cranes said: “We successfully met a tight deadline and can’t thank VERLINDE Lifting Equipment – Stephanie Fernandez Léger and team for pulling out all the stops to bring the special project in front of normal schedule so that we could install through Xmas shutdown.

“We are so proud to be trusted by our client to take on the responsibility to provide a quality crane in one of the most important bays.

“So proud of the teams right from planning to installation they have made such a complex job run smoothly even with all the obstacles we had to get around.”

ACDC Cranes, established in 2008, undertakes design, supply, and full lifecycle support for industrial lifting equipment.
