At the beginning of contract start date the contractor shall inspect the mechanical hoist for defects, inspect bolted connections, lubricate required components, and clean all components in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. The contractor shall then perform a functional test of the mechanical hoist. During this work the contractor shall perform stress testing of the mechanical hoist and provide required TUEV certification. All maintenance, repair, inspection results, and proposed remedies for any defects found shall be annotated in a logbook within one workday of the inspection. Logbooks shall be stored at Service Contract Management, Building 507, Ramstein Air Base (+49 6371-47-6919/6004).
