KCI Konecranes put its UK lifting gear rental busines up for sale in January. The business, part of Lloyds British, has sales of £4.5m ($7.2m) a year.
KCI Konecranes says that renting out under-hook appliances is “totally outside the scope of other group activities”. It added: “Financial effects of the transaction are neutral, but mangement in Britain can now better focus on core activities.”
