Occo Coolers’ Jetfan can be used for heat recovery in buildings where overhead cranes are operating. Unlike conventional ceiling mounted fans the Jetfan does not need tubular ducting so there is nothing hanging down to obstruct the passage of an overhead crane. Its ‘air pipe’ delivery pushes a column, or ‘rod’ of warm air down as far as 40m. Overhead cranes or vehicles can pass through the air column which reforms after the obstruction has passed.

Occo projects savings of 30% on heating bills for this destratification method of heat recovery, enough to recoup the cost of the Jetfan in one winter season, it is claimed. The Jetfan can also be used in summer for cooling and ventilation.
