Ergonomics feature strongly in Metreel’s new Alpha series design of pendant control. Reduced dimensions and anti slip lines are intended to make the unit easier to hold.
An inclined suspension system angles the control unit towards the operator to give a clearer view of the controls without the operator having to bend down, Metreel claims Configured with six, eight, 10 or 12 buttons, single or dual speed versions are available and standard units are all fitted with an emergency stop mushroom pushbutton to International Standard EN 148. With an IP65 rating, the pendant is protected against dust and water ingress.
