Attendees will have the opportunity to see bespoke lifting equipment and get ideas on different lifting applications, whilst seeing and understanding some of the lifting work being carried out by specialist lifting professionals across the UK. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear from leading industry speakers.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to take a tour inside the facility and view a variety of product demonstrations, including GGR’s pioneering lifting equipment, glass vacuum lifters, glazing robots and UNIC mini spider cranes. Other innovative equipment on display will be the new sky robot 1500, electric and diesel telehandlers, new overhang beams and other specialist lifting equipment.
Key topics will focus on many aspects of lifting, loading, lowering, training, people plant, vehicle interface, new and improved methods of working and areas of innovation.
In addition to the site tours and product demonstrations, entertainment and refreshments will be provided to visitors at the site throughout the day.
The audience for this event is lifting APs, logistics managers, supervisors, plant managers, procurement leads and senior H&S leaders from across the Tier 1 and Industry contractors’ group.
The depot is accessible by road and public transport, being situated off the M40 for those travelling by car and less than a ten-minute walk from Haddenham and Thame Parkway station, a 38-minute train ride from London Marylebone.
