GGR Group has a history of introducing equipment to the UK construction sector, including green lifting solutions, for use in environmentally sensitive areas. Innovations include the development of a battery crane in 2010, ahead of its official production model launch as the Eco-UNIC in 2014; and more recently the world's first fully electric telehandler in 2020.  

Since 2012, the Supply Chain Sustainability School has positioned itself as a professional body of sustainability within the built environment sector. Hosting regular networking events, which provide a platform for drivers of sustainability and decision makers to share knowledge in their area of expertise. In addition, the SCSS provides free educational resources to those who are aspiring to enhance their knowledge of best practise in sustainability.
