A new line of centre flange hand winches which can use two ropes off the drum at the same time have been released by US manufacturer Jeamar Winches. The winches are available with line pulls from 250kg to 5,000kg. Automatic fail-safe braking is standard on all models.
Also from Jeamar is a new range of double drum, wide centre electric winches. The winches can be mounted horizontally, vertically or upside down. Options include controls, grooved drums, limit switches, free spooling and pressure rollers.
