Survitec appoints lifting and inspection product manager

SSD’s clients include including ABP, Airbus, Ineos and Vauxhall and many other companies in the marine, industrial and manufacturing sectors.

One of Heath’s responsibilities will involve expanding and developing the company's lifting and inspection business in these sectors.

Heath will also be responsible for supporting the company's sales teams with bidding for tenders and administration of key accounts. He will work with suppliers to promote sales and grow its customer base.

Heath has earned an engineering scholarship with the Royal Air Force where he received training as an aircraft engineer, worked in a specialist field unit on Chinook helicopters, and worked in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Heath’s experience with technical engineering and sales includes working for injection moulding packaging company Coral Products, where he was assistant chief engineer.

He was beforehand a key account manager for Cromwell Industrial Tools, procuring for aircraft manufacturer Airbus and the EADS Group.
