Straightpoint appoints GLE for distribution in China
15 June 2011GLE currently supplies hoisting and rigging products, such as Bridon ropes and Crosby rigging accessories, to the Chinese market.
Counting the recent addition of ATTA in Abu Dhabi, this will mean Straightpoint has 22 overseas distributors.
GLE, in turn has 67 branches, including distributors, sub-distributors and sales agents, although it plan to reorganize its distribution network over the next five years by appointing 39 key regional distributors with up to two sub-distributors each.
Straightpoint also announced that it is opening a new sales and services branch in Aberdeen serving the offshore oil and gas industry.
