RON’S NEW OVERLOAD DETECTOR

Eilon Engineering has launched a new load monitor system, the RON 1000, an overload detector that can command any alarm and/or stop hoisting activity when overload is detected.

This cost-effective solution improves safety during hoisting activities, according to the Israeli manufacturer.

Features of the RON 1000 overload detector include: • low headroom loss.

• a safety factor of 6.

• the option of a “high loads alarm” which actually warns the operator that he is hoisting loads exceeding 85% of the maximum permissible load.

The factory-calibrated system is supplied with a 200% proof load certificate.
