Lloyds British Testing awarded Integral UK maintenance contract

International inspection and certification specialist Lloyds British Testing (LBT), which has its headquarters in Birmingham, UK, has been awarded a three-year maintenance contract with Integral UK Ltd, covering establishments across the south coast.

The scope of work required to be undertaken by the Lloyds British team is to oversee the full maintenance programmes and repair of lifting and work equipment which includes: winches, vehicle lifts, traffic barriers, scissor lifts, safety lines, mobile lighting towers, forklift trucks, overhead and dockside cranes.

In addition to this, Lloyds will be providing full maintenance and repair services for approximately 800 industrial doors.

“By carrying out maintenance and repairs, Lloyds is able to keep unexpected future costs to a minimum, whilst keeping all equipment and sites running efficiently, which is of major importance to any MOD establishment,” the company said.

The contract will be overseen by Tim Musselwhite and the Lloyds British team based in Plymouth.

Commenting on the contract win, Lloyds British managing director Ryan White said:  “We are absolutely delighted at being awarded such a prestigious contract with Integral UK and we look forward to working closely with them, ensuring compliance of their equipment”.

Lloyds British annual turnover is now in excess of £24m and the organisation, which is over 200 years old, employs over 300 people within its 12 UK outlets, as well as operating overseas.
