LGH moves into Germany

LGH Group of the UK is expanding its international presence with a new German subsidiary.

A customer base has already been built up in Germany by trading through LGH Verhuur Hijsmaterieel BV (Netherlands) and now the first permanent German location has been established in Dortmund.

Gordon Worswick, LGH Group overseas development director, said: “We have always been confident that there is considerable business to be had for LGH within the German market. It was important for us to gain an understanding of the nature, attitudes and dynamics of the hire industry in Germany as it differs considerably from the UK. Armed with this knowledge, we now feel ready to win a large slice of the market.”
