CXT hoists for UK dockyard

Konecranes UK has supplied seven cranes to Fleet Support Ltd’s Portsmouth dockyard which is being modernised.

Konecranes is supplying six CXT cranes, comprising three 2t SWL units, two 5t SWL, and one 6.3t double girder crane.

The seventh crane is a 2t XLD model, designed to operate in a corrosive environment. It will have dual-speed, cast iron frame motors and stainless steel control panels with all rubber cables.
