CM employee picks-up award

STAFDA holds an annual convention, usually in November, for members to convene and take part in educational programmes, seminars and a trade show that is attended by manufacturers and distributors.

Mike DiLallo, director CM industrial products division said: "Fred not only grew the Midland Forge product sales with a key customer but also added incremental business as well."

The Midland Forge product range includes hooks, shackles and other attachments used primarily for overhead lifting.  Many items are used in conjunction with CM herc-alloy chain as part of chain slings.

DiLallo added: "Fred also demonstrated leadership and teamwork by helping to train a fellow district sales manager and help him grow his forged attachment business."

Sales results for Midland Forge products for both Steinke and the manager he trained are "up significantly," according to CM.
