France-based AMIO Levage has completed the supply and installation of two CMU 10t overhead cranes with an 11m span for an undisclosed client.
The project involved fitting the cranes to an existing raceway and included a range of technical specifications designed to improve operational performance and safety.
Both cranes are constructed using a box girder structure and are equipped with wire rope hoists providing a 7m useful lifting height.
The system includes Schneider dimmers installed on all axes, which aim to ensure smoother movement during operation.
The cranes have been supplied with specific features intended to support tandem operation. These include a predisposition for tandem use, a charge indicator, and a safety light for tandem activities.
The installation offered by AMIO Levage comprised a turnkey solution from initial study and manufacture through to final commissioning at the site.
AMIO Levage, which has operated for more than 30 years, manufactures equipment for handling and lifting such as overhead cranes, semi-gantries, electric jib cranes, and lifting beams.
