SODILEVE has completed the installation of a jib crane equipped with a 125kg triangulated stem from Comege and a VX2 Verlinde hoist.

The installation includes a steel hollow profile jib crane, designed to support a load capacity of 125kg.

In areas where ceiling height is limited, an inverted version of the same system is available, retaining use of the VX2 Verlinde hoist with an 80kg weight.

Comege, based in France, manufactures lifting equipment including jib cranes, gantry cranes, and spreader beams.

The company produces both standard and bespoke products used in several sectors, such as manufacturing, engineering, water treatment, nuclear industry, mining, food processing, and ports.

Comege collaborates with specialist lifting equipment companies in France and works with various international businesses.

SODILEVE, operating in Western France, provides installation and maintenance services to industries including automotive, agriculture, agro-food, wood processing, chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, manufacturing, and construction.

SODILEVE forms part of the SM3I group, established in 2013, which provides material handling, storage, and other industrial services.

In 2022, SM3I completed over 8,000 projects across 32 departments in Western France. The group incorporates three companies: SMAI, SODILEVE, and METALINOX.

In April, SODILEVE installed a 3.2t VM hoist Verlinde overhead crane on a load-bearing structure supplied by the company for a client in Western France.

The installation was part of SODILEVE’s activities in setting up and maintaining lifting, elevation, and ergonomic equipment.
