SODILEVE has completed the installation of a 3.2t VM hoist Verlinde overhead crane on a load-bearing structure supplied by the company for an unnamed client.
The recent project is in line with SODILEVE’s role in providing lifting and handling solutions for various industries in Western France.
The installation forms part of SODILEVE’s ongoing operations in the installation and maintenance of lifting, elevation, and ergonomic equipment.
SODILEVE manager Jean Guichard said: “Our latest installation of a 3.2t VM hoist overhead crane Verlinde Lifting Equipment on load-bearing structure from our supply.
“Thank you to our client for their trust.”

The company operates under the umbrella of the SM3I group, which began operations in 2013.
SM3I covers a range of activities such as trading, services, material handling, storage, ergonomic solutions, outsourcing, and industrial metalwork.
In 2022, the group served 32 departments in Western France, completing more than 8,000 projects for businesses in the region.
SM3I comprises three companies: SMAI, SODILEVE, and METALINOX.
In March, SODILEVE installed a hollow steel profile bridge with a load capacity of 250kg, equipped with a Verlinde VX2 258 b2 hoist.
The bridge provides a hook coverage area measuring 8m by 8m and includes motorised functions for both movement and lifting.
Operators control the system with an X-Pair Conductix-Wampfler radio remote, enabling wireless management of the equipment.
