Manut Services has completed a comprehensive retrofit of a 5t Verlinde overhead crane from 1973 at a client site in Yonne, France.
The company, based in Monéteau, completed the modernisation following an on-site assessment.
The project involved fitting a new model VF5 HPR trolley from Verlinde Lifting Equipment, installing updated supply and control garlands, and replacing the crane’s existing travel cabinet.

Manut Services, authorised as a Verlinde after-sales service centre, provides installation, maintenance, repair, and regulatory inspection of lifting equipment for clients across Yonne, Loiret, and Nivernais.
The company, established in Seignelay in 2000, supplies and services lifting solutions ranging from hoists and gantries to overhead cranes and related accessories.
Its operational footprint extends from Auxerre to Orléans and Nevers and includes work with a variety of equipment brands.
In March, Manut Services supplied and installed a new jib crane at a company in Auxerre to assist with the handling of machined aluminium parts.
The installed equipment includes a triangulated hollow profile drum that supports the jib crane, offering a load capacity of 125kg and allowing manual rotation up to 270 degrees.
This installation was carried out to meet the company’s requirements for more efficient material handling.
Manut Services managed both the delivery and installation of the lifting system at the client’s premises.
