Nucleon Crane Group has secured an order from a Guatemalan client for a 10-tonne single-girder overhead crane.

The crane, adhering to European standards, is designed with a span of 19.55m and a lifting height of nine metres, specifically for facilities with limited headroom and significant lifting needs.

Nucleon’s HD Europe standard single-girder overhead crane is crafted to optimise space utilisation and reduce investment costs. It incorporates latest technology and complies with international standards, including DIN, FEM, and ISO. The crane features a robust structure, reduced dead weight, and a distinctive travelling mechanism.

The crane’s specifications include the use of Q235B and Q355B materials, high-strength hot-rolled flat steel for the trolley rail, and epoxy zinc-rich painting for durability. It also includes a forged hook with a wide throat opening and slip-resistant safety features.

The girder and end beam are connected using high-strength bolts, ensuring structural strength and precision. End beams are fitted with flat or double rim wheels, anti-friction bearings, buffer blocks, and derailment prevention plates.

Recently, Nucleon Crane delivered a 10-tonne European-style single-girder overhead crane to a client in Angola.

This crane, customised to meet specific requirements, features a 25m span and a 10m lifting height, operating with a work class of A5. It offers both pendant and remote-control modes and includes imported configurations such as SEW brand motors and ABB electrical components.
