ProMat 2019 set for Chicago this April

ProMat 2019 will take place on April 8–11 in Chicago, bringing together exhibitors and visitors from across the supply chain.

More than 1,000 exhibitors from industry, commerce and government will showcase supply chain solutions and innovations, covering sectors including material handling equipment and systems, as well as packaging, containers and shipping equipment; inventory management and control technologies; dock and warehouse equipment and supplies; supply chain management; sustainable facility solutions; and automatic identification systems.

The ProMat Conference will run alongside the exhibition, with more than 130 sessions taking place to provide visitors with insight into manufacturing and supply chain trends, technologies and innovations.

Keynote presentations include a joint presentation from George W. Prest, CEO of US industry body MHI, and Scott Sopher, principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Supply Chain practice, on Wednesday at 8.45am. This will look at a preview of the MHI 2019 Annual Industry Report, a report on current supply chain trends and technologies, with the findings of the report being presented followed by discussion from a panel of manufacturing and supply chain leaders.
