New CM 653-A lever hoist launched
9 September 2020US firm Columbus McKinnon has introduced the CM Series 653-A ratchet lever hoist—a redesign of its CM 653 model, with a much lighter and more compact form factor.
The company stated that the shorter handle on the 0.75t and 1.5t versions of the 653-A also makes the product easier to use in lower headroom situations, with its ability to rotate 360° improving ease of operation. Using a standard length handle gives it three- or six-ton capacities.
All models are designed to be rugged tools for close quarter pulling, stretching, and hoisting applications with a standard lift of up to 20ft (6m).
