G.W. Becker appoints East Coast sales manager
17 January 2019Crane manufacturer G.W. Becker,a custom design manufacturer of overhead cranes based in Pennsylvania, has appointed Fred Pokrywka as regional sales manager for the East Coast Region.
Pokrywka brings more than 26 years of experience in the crane and hoist industry, having spent the previous two years with Williamson & Wilmer as a regional sales manager specialising in large federal, state and local governmentcontracts for cranes and lifting equipment as well as private industrial crane sales.
Prior to that, Pokrywka spent 24 years in various positions with ACCO Material Handling Solutions, including chain production manager, MRO buyer, plant manager, chain products manager and lastly district sales manager for lifting products.
During the last ten years as a district sales manager, Pokrywka worked closely with distributors in training, applying and quoting highly engineered products such as hoists, crane components, patented track systems, vacuum lifters and below the hook lifting products.
