Fisher Offshore servicing certification

Fisher Offshore’s announcement follows its appointment as Ingersoll Rand’s UK master distributor, which certifies that the company has the standard of facilities, manpower, and inventory required to support Ingersoll Rand products.

Five of its engineers were trained to service the products, two of which also attained an offshore certification so that they can service Ingersoll rand’s offshore clients.

Fisher Offshore has had status as a certified Ingersoll Rand service centre for two years. Since then it has added spare parts stock and four office staff.

“This recent achievement by our workshop team members shows that all of our engineers have demonstrated technical competency in the overhaul and servicing of a wide range of Ingersoll Rand equipment,” said Duncan Duthie, director for Ingersoll Rand sales and service. “This includes competency in servicing air chain hoists, utility winches and man-riding winches.“

The five engineers will be based at the dedicated Ingersoll Rand workshop at Fisher Offshore’s headquarters in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire.
