Atacama Desert plant planned
8 November 2013PV energy provider, SunEdison, has secured USD 212.5M in project finance for a 100mw power plant in the Atacama Desert, Chile.
The company said that the total value of the debt for the project was approximately USD 260.5M.
With the financing secured, the PV energy provider expects to fast-track the construction, starting the project in August next year and expected completion sometime in the first quarter of 2014.
