Tractel has supplied two jib cranes to a nautical maintenance facility in Tenerife, Spain, to support the movement of heavy components.

The site features one wall-mounted and one column-mounted crane, each operated with the assistance of a Volt Trac electric hoist.

The company Keytools carried out the initial installation and later upgraded the column-mounted crane with a motorised rotation feature, using the existing hoist.

This modification has reduced manual handling and improved efficiency in daily operations at the facility.

The company said: “At a leading nautical maintenance centre in Tenerife, heavy components are moved the smart way—using two Tractel jib cranes (one wall-mounted, one column-mounted), both powered by a Volt Trac electric hoist.

“After a successful first installation by Keytools, the column jib crane was upgraded to motorised rotation, reusing the same trusted hoist.”
