England-based RS Industrial Services has announced the supply of a 6.3t double girder electric overhead travelling (EOT) crane.
Details about the customer have not been disclosed.
The EOT crane is equipped with a Guralp brand hoist which will help the client in lifting heavy loads safely, said RS Industrial Services cranes and lifting business development head Roger Orr.
RS Industrial Services operates as an independent supplier within the material handling and engineering sector.
The company, with operations in Billingham and Gateshead, supplies new cranes and provides services such as maintenance, repairs and breakdown support for overhead lifting equipment.
It supports clients from equipment specification and selection through to supply, installation and servicing of cranes and lifting systems.
The business also supplies a wide range of industrial goods, including personal protective equipment, electrical components, power tools and other safety products for workplace operations.
It also offers custom-built crane systems tailored to client needs.
The company previously announced that it has obtained a full membership with England’s North East Regional Defence and Security Cluster.
Through this membership, the company will participate in activities aimed at supporting collaboration within the defence sector in the North East, contributing to regional economic initiatives and national security efforts.
A month ago, the company showcased its hoist—fitted with HALO Light System, at the North East Automotive Alliance Expo 2025.
