Bulgaria-headquartered Podemcrane has installed a double girder overhead crane with a 16t capacity for a client in Romania.
The company carried out the engineering, manufacturing and installation to meet industrial requirements.
The design of the crane aims to deliver consistent performance, with a focus on reliability, safety, and productivity.

Podemcrane, which operates in the region of South East Europe, delivers and services cranes and crane components for both crane manufacturers and end users.
The business expanded its range by forming an Industrial Cranes department that functions in Bulgaria and neighbouring areas.
Podemcrane said its products and services adhere to European and international quality and safety standards, carrying the CE mark.
Podem manufactures hoists for a long service life and to reduce periods when the equipment is out of use. The company produces the mechanical parts at its own facility.
Customers use the company’s chain hoists as lifting equipment on jib cranes or overhead travelling cranes.
The CLF hoist series has load capacities ranging from 125kg to 2,000kg. This series offers options such as eye bolt or top hook suspension and accommodates either push trolleys or electrically powered travel trolleys.
Podem supplies wire rope hoists for various crane and replacement applications. Standard models are available for loads up to 50 metric tonnes (mt), with additional options extending capacity up to 120mt.
In May this year, Podemcrane supplied high-performance hoists for two 25t overhead cranes for Sinai Pumping Station No 12 and 13 in Egypt.
