Czech Republic-based steel container manufacturer Kovar has revealed the installation of two 25t overhead cranes at its facility.
The cranes are of Konecranes brand.
The installation team fitted the cranes in the company’s new hall, where limited clearance beneath the roof required careful handling of the crane girders.
Despite the constrained space, the crew completed the installation without delay, adding what are now Kovar’s largest cranes to its production site.
The company said: “A long-awaited Christmas delivery arrived at Kovar right on schedule: Two overhead cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 25 tonnes.
“Even though the installation took place in a brand-new, spacious hall, it was still a real tight-fit job — the installation crane had very limited clearance under the roof when handling the massive crane girders.
“Still, the installation was successful, and our new hall is now proudly equipped with the largest cranes at Kovar.”
