Kinocranes, a manufacturer of lifting equipment headquartered in Singapore, has supplied a 5t European single girder overhead crane system for a food and beverage plant in Argentina.
The system has been installed to facilitate equipment maintenance and improve material handling within the facility.
The undisclosed client sought a lifting solution for its production workshop, which did not have an existing crane runway or supporting structure.
In response, Kinocranes provided a comprehensive overhead crane package. This included both the crane and the supporting travelling beam system, with all components engineered for compatibility from the outset.
Limited headroom within the building was identified as an important design consideration.
Kinocranes addressed this by optimising the girder depth to 610mm, helping to maximise lifting height without requiring structural changes to the facility.
The crane features a span of 14.129m and a lifting height of 6.2m, and conforms to Duty Class M5.
The company reported that the crane system is now fully in place and supporting day-to-day operations on site.
According to Kinocranes, projects of this nature require solutions that are matched to both the production process and the physical constraints of the building.

Kinocranes has operated internationally since 2008 and produces more than 3,000 cranes per year from its manufacturing base in Changyuan, Henan.

The manufacturer holds over 449 patents related to its products and has supplied more than 2,000 clients in over 120 countries.
Kinocranes states that its operations comply with several international certification standards, including ISO and CE.
In May, Kino Cranes finished installing four 5t double-girder overhead cranes at an industrial facility in the United Arab Emirates.
