DGCrane has completed the delivery of a 5t low-headroom electric single girder overhead crane to a client in Kazakhstan.

The company received enquiry from the customer in November 2024.

The crane spans 10.8m and has a lifting height of 5m, designed to function within the specific dimensions of the client’s facility.

It features a low-headroom electric wire rope hoist and operates at lifting and traveling speeds of 8 and 20m per minute respectively.

The system is powered by a 380V 50Hz 3Ph supply and utilises Schneider brand electrical components, adhering to an ISO M3 duty group.

Throughout the factory’s construction phase, DGCrane demonstrated flexibility by continually revising its proposal to accommodate the actual workshop span and height requirements.

This collaborative approach resulted in the finalisation of the crane’s specifications, ensuring optimal performance for the intended space.

The customer’s decision to proceed with DGCrane was influenced by the company’s attentive customer service, professional conduct, and positive track record in the Central Asia.

The production phase was concluded within an efficient 30-day timeframe.

For transportation, the main beam and supports were wrapped in rainproof cloth, while the electric wire rope hoist and control box were encased in plywood crates.

Additional crane electrical accessories were also sealed with rainproof cloth to safeguard against potential weather damage during transit.

With this delivery, DGCrane anticipates that their electric overhead crane will significantly contribute to the client’s material handling efficiency.

This project follows DGCrane’s recent provision of lifting equipment to a Romanian client, which included two single girder overhead cranes with similar capacities and power specifications.
