Demag Cranes & Components announced that its official country partner for Ecuador, MECASER, has supplied a custom-built crane to an undisclosed customer.

The crane has been designed after detailed discussions with the client to enhance productivity and safety.

Key features of the crane include a maintenance platform for technician safety and multiple Demag DH hoist units for reliable load handling.

It also features a two-layer epoxy and polyurethane finish for corrosion resistance.

Additional features include a tandem control system, which allows synchronised operation of multiple equipment, enhancing versatility and precision.

The crane is also equipped with Demag Drives, ensuring precise movement of the trolleys and crane.

The customisation aims to meet the client’s specific operational requirements, facilitating safer and more efficient processes, said Demag.

Demag Cranes & Components, in a LinkedIn post, said: “Our Official Country Partner MECASER S.A. shows an absolute beauty of a crane.

“Congratulations to the team at MECASER for this well-done project and looking forward to the upcoming projects!”

MECASER posted: “None of this is a coincidence. Each component was chosen together with our client, with a single objective: that this crane not only lifts loads, but also raises productivity, safety and confidence.”

Recently, Demag installed several overhead cranes at a site of Martens Beton, a Netherlands-based supplier of concrete elements, to meet specific client needs.

The installation was executed by Van den Berg, Demag’s partner in the Netherlands and Belgium, incorporating the Demag DH hoist unit.

The cranes, incorporating Demag DH hoist units, were customised according to Martens Beton’s colours and easily integrated into the site. This installation aims to improve operational efficiency at Martens Beton.

Demag said that its DH hoist units are engineered for challenging environments, such as foundries and electroplating plants.
