Crane Check Lifting Services has completed the installation and commissioning of two freestanding jib cranes, each with a safe working load of 500kg for an undisclosed client.

The project involved fitting one crane with a 7m jib arm and the other with a 3.5m jib arm, tailored to meet specific customer requirements.

The company’s team carried out the structural setup for both columns and jib arms, followed by the integration of Liftket single-fall electric chain hoists.

Post-installation work included full electrical wiring, pendant control setup, and system integration.

After installation, Crane Check Lifting Services conducted load testing on both units to confirm operational safety, effective slewing, and consistent lifting performance.

Crane Check Lifting Services lifting equipment service engineer Vinny Nolan said: “Installation and commissioning completed for two freestanding jib cranes with 7m and 3.5m jib arms, each rated to SWL 500 kg for the customer requirements.

“Both cranes were load tested to verify safe operation, smooth slewing, and reliable lifting performance.”
