Czech Republic-based Alto Systems has completed an installation of an Erikkila light crane system, designed to support lifting operations with a 250kg capacity.
The new system has a 9m runway, a 6m bridge span, and a Yale CPVF electric chain hoist supplied by Columbus McKinnon.
The company said the lifting equipment was installed to meet specific operational requirements.
The Erikkila light crane system is described as modular, with adaptable components used in various settings including production lines, workshops, and logistics facilities.
Standard units can accommodate loads of up to 2,000kg, and are available in steel or aluminium profiles to suit different workspace layouts and needs.
The Yale CPVF electric chain hoist is designed for professional settings and includes an integrated limit switch that helps extend the operational life of the hoist’s slip clutch, motor, and gearbox.
According to the companies, Erikkila systems allow for tailored installation due to modular suspension elements.
The systems can be adjusted for a range of operational tasks, from lighter assembly activities to more demanding industrial lifting.
Alto Systems provides handling solutions for a range of industries and represents several manufacturers in the region.
The company offers a portfolio of equipment for lifting and load handling, including both manual and electric options.
It acts as an exclusive dealer for selected brands in the Czech and Slovak Republics, including shunting equipment, column lifts, positioners, and turntables.
Additional services offered include warranty cover, after-sales service, assembly, and scheduled maintenance for supplied products by a team of in-house technicians.
Last month, Cranemech, based in Ängelholm, Sweden, installed an Erikkila column-mounted steel jib crane with a 250kg lifting capacity at a client site in Sweden.
