The contractor shall provide all management, tools, labor and new materials to complete the flood-gate panels, crane controls, and electrical distribution for possibly 25 lakes in Texas.     The requirements include controls for tainter gate spillways, outlet work structures, and crane controls. Several of the control systems will require remote operation and limit switch replacement, and installation of hydraulic valves which will be determined by the Corps of Engineers (COE).  This is a turn-key style work and contract. The contractor shall remove and dispose of existing control panel and wiring, install new COE-approved control panel, integrate new panel and wiring into existing hoist system equipment, calibrate limit switches, report degraded conduit, run performance test, and correct performance problems.

Unless approved otherwise in writing by the government quality assurance representative, the contractor shall only disable one gate controller at a time. Lakes will require replacement of various electrical components such as breaker panels, feeders to gate operators, addition of ground wiring to meet IEEE standards, transfer switches, and distribution centres.

This procurement is a 100% Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) set-aside.
