The Crosby Group will relocate to a larger, state-of-the-art facility in Hampshire, UK, for the production of its load monitoring equipment and crane camera systems from February 22.

This production facility, which manufactures its Crosby Straightpoint and Crosby BlokCam products, will make a short trip inland to Waterlooville from the current location in Havant on England’s south coast.

The bigger space will provide additional capacity to meet the increasing current demand for Crosby Straightpoint and Crosby BlokCam products as well as allow for future growth.

Thomas Dietvorst, director of technology solutions at The Crosby Group, said: “We are thrilled to invest in a larger facility to accommodate the accelerated adoption of our load monitoring products and camera systems.

“The new site immediately gives us a larger footprint for improved capacity, which will ensure we can continue to deliver the best experience to our valued channel partners and end users. The site also provides an excellent environment for our incredible team, which has doubled over recent years.”

He added: “Overall, this move enables us to react even faster to market and customer demand. We are likely the only load cell manufacturer that has all primary production processes in-house. We aim to further innovate and grow along with our channel partners to bring even more technology to the lifting industry.”

The Crosby Group manufactures and distributes products and services used to make lifting and load securement safer and more efficient. Its brands include Crosby, Gunnebo Industries, Crosby Straightpoint, Crosby BlokCam, Acco, McKissick, Crosby Feubo, Crosby Airpes, Trawlex, Lebus, Speedbinders and CrosbyIP.
