Levate Solutions has completed the installation of an 8t safe working load (SWL) double-girder overhead crane at a site in South Wales, UK, following the crane’s arrival last week.
The equipment was assembled and thoroughly checked at the company’s workshop prior to delivery, allowing engineers to complete the installation quickly and with minimal disruption to the customer’s operations.
The Shropshire-based company specialises in the manufacture and installation of overhead lifting equipment, supplying industries including galvanising, foundries, automotive, aerospace and general manufacturing.
Levate Solutions also designs and implements automated control systems for industrial environments.
According to the company, fully assembling and inspecting the crane in its workshop helped ensure straightforward site installation and minimised disruption to the customer’s operations.

Levate Solutions operates from two sites and was founded by John Davies and Paul Austin.
The company maintains a partnership with Demag, an international manufacturer of crane systems.

Last month, Levate Solutions installed an overhead crane system for an aerospace parts manufacturer in Devon, in the southwest of England. The system included a hoist supplied by Demag Cranes & Components, with a SWL of 4,000kg.
The installation is intended to support the manufacturer with the precise, heavy-lifting operations involved in aerospace component production.
